Online Prescription Request
This prescription service is not for antibiotics or new medications. Certain medications will not be issued, this is at the GP’s discretion and for your safety. New patients to the practice are kindly asked to see the doctor prior to an online script being issued. You need to be seen within 12 months before we can issue an online script. There’s a charge of €20 for 6 months repeat prescriptions.
Written requests are preferable in order to:
- Ensure maximum patient safety;
- Ensure that patients are aware of the medications they are requesting;
- Reduce the risk of prescribing of unnecessary medications;
- Ensure accurate records of patient medication requests are retained;
- Minimise human error.
