Varicella vaccine (VARIVAX), also known as chickenpox vaccine, is a vaccine to help protect adults and children against varicella (chickenpox). Varicella vaccine can be administered to persons 12 months of age or older. It is a course of 2 vaccines 5 weeks apart. Children should have completed all Childhood Immunisations prior to getting this vaccine.
